July 31 entry deadline – work must be received by September 15

We’re coming down to the deadline for entries. We cannot accept entries postmarked after July 31, so keep those cards and CDs coming!

All artists who were part of the first group that honored our May 31 deadline have been accepted into the show. You will received formal notice by August 15, 2011. Thanks for being our pioneers!

Please refer to the prospectus for instructions about sending or delivering work to the gallery. Work that is shipped must have return mailing and insurance with your artwork. Two-dimensional work must be framed with wire on the back (no sawtooth hangers or D-rings). Please plan for work to be received by the gallery between September 1 and 15, 2011.

We will also ask you for a brief bio and/or artist statement (200 words or less) and a headshot for the program.

The first-ever BRHS alumni art show

Ok, we have heard from artists who just missed the deadline and want to participate. We purposely planned for a long time between entries and show in hopes that folks who live out of state will be able to attend.

We are extending the deadline for entries to July 31, 2011. But that’s “it,” so please get them in ASAP!

Alumni artists from Bordentown Regional High School are planning Feels Like Home, the first-ever juried alumni art show. We have a commitment from Farnsworth Art Gallery to host us October 1-15, 2011, during Cranberry Festival. We are hoping to raise some funds for a student scholarship fund for BRHS artists.

Check back often for updates, applications, and posters. Also please let us know if you want to help with the event or to spread the word. Feel free to leave us a note here or write us at BordentownArt@yahoo.com, and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

Chris, Louise, Kate, and Andy
